DAY 1:  APRIL 23, 2018

Get away from the hustle and bustle and enjoy the rolling hills and well cared for farmsteads.  Visit Ohio Amish Country, home to the largest Amish settlement in the world!  One of the best ways to appreciate your time spent in the area is by learning more about the Amish way of life.  Enjoy good old-fashioned Amish meals, visit a local theatre, visit an Amish home, view items being handmade, browse the local shops and take in some local sightseeing and attractions.

DAY 2:  APRIL 24, 2018

This morning a local guide will meet you for a full day of touring.  Visit an Amish home and enjoy a delicious full breakfast.  Continue to Coblentz Leather featuring a nice selection of handmade leather goods for men, women, and your home.  Next you will visit the David Warther Museum.  Here the carver himself will take you on a guided tour.  Drive through Sugarcreek, part of Ohio’s Amish Country but also known as the “Little Switzerland of Ohio.”  (B, L, D)

DAY 3:  APRIL 25, 2018

Depart the hotel this morning with a local guide and head to Hershberger Baskets.  Here you will meet Mattie Hershberger the head of an Amish Family and owner.  Watch her make her beautiful hand-woven baskets.  Next is P. Graham Dunn, a one-of-of-a-kind shopping experience offering a wide selection of high quality wood décor and gifts.  Proceed to Lehman’s Hardware for shopping and lunch on your own in their Café.  Shop and reminisce your way through thousands of products, while browsing Jay Lehman’s antique collection located throughout the store.  Stop at Ashery’s Bulk Food Store.  This is the “grandma” of bulk food stores!  Products include – deli meats, cheeses, pastas, candy, baked goods, a variety of dip, snack, cookie and soup mixes, a complete line of baking needs, spices, dried fruits, nuts, jams, peanut butter ground fresh daily and much more.  Enjoy an Amish Wedding Feast at Katie Shrock Amish home.  Experience an Amish Wedding Feast where the room will be set just like a wedding has just taken place.  You may be selected from our group to sit at the main table.  One couple will be the bride and groom, the other two couples will be the witness couples.  (B, D)
