DAY 1:  MAY 29, 2018

Quebec City is among North America’s most unique and appealing destinations.  Experience its four centuries of French heritage, irresistible “walled city” charm, as well as its scenic and historic core with plenty of variety to see and do.  Check into the Palace Royal Hotel, located in the heart of all major attractions.  Its contemporary style harmonizes with the European character of Old Québec, proclaimed a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1985.  The remainder of the afternoon and evening will be free to enjoy as you wish.

DAY 2:  MAY 30, 2018

This morning you will visit the Shrine of Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré.  Discover its extraordinary history through the beauty of numerous artistic masterpieces from paintings, mosaics, stained-glass windows, stone and wooden sculptures.  Next you will enjoy a whale watching cruise.  Whales feed at the confluence of the Saguenay and St. Lawrence Rivers.  You may see minke, blue, finback and beluga whales, as well as seals and a vast array of other wildlife.  (B, D)

DAY 3:  MAY 31, 2018

Enjoy a 3-hour tour of Quebec City and Montmorency Falls.  This tour will include the Plains of Abraham, Cape Diamond, Joan of Arc Garden, Grend-Allée, Parliament, Place d’Armes, Château Frontenac, Place Royal, Montmorency Falls and much more!  Montmorency Falls, the first to be harnessed for hydro-electric power, are 1 ½ times taller than Niagara Falls.  You’ll have a fantastic view from the foot bridge that crosses the top of the Falls as well as the lookouts alongside.  The afternoon will be free to enjoy as you wish.  There’s lots to see and do in the Old City, all within walking distance of the hotel!  (B, D)

DAY 4:  JUNE 1, 2018

Quebec City is one of the most beautiful cities in Canada and this morning you’ll have time to explore the lovely streets, squares, boutiques and bistros on your own.  Strolling along the winding streets, you’ll feel as if you’ve gone back in time as you pass by homes built over 300 years ago.  Depart early afternoon to begin your journey home.  (B)
