DAY 1:  DECEMBER 10, 2020

In the heart of Old Quebec, the German Christmas Market is a magical place that comes to life just before Christmas.  It is a market designed to recreate as closely as possible the atmosphere of the big European Christmas markets and to offer you a unique and unforgettable experience.  Accommodations for the next three nights will be at Le Concorde.  Located in the heart of beautiful Quebec City, this hotel is within walking distance to museums, activities, attractions, and restaurants.  (D)

DAY 2:  DECEMBER 11, 2020

Depart the hotel for a visit of the parliament, designated a national historic site by the Québec government in 1985, the National Assembly is where the 125 parliamentarians elected by the people of Québec sit.  Today you will have time to enjoy Québec City’s German Christmas Market, an exceptional multi-sensory experience you don’t want to miss.  It is wonderland with a unique and warm atmosphere, beautiful decorations, a great selection of succulent German treats (bratwurst, mulled wine, gingerbread, and much more), delicious terroir products, exquisite Christmas gifts, choral singing, and more!  This is an unforgettable experience you will not want to miss!  (B, L)

DAY 3:  DECEMBER 12, 2020

This morning you will visit the Beaupré Coast.  Visit the Basilica of Sainte Anne-de-Beapré, one of Canada’s most visited shrines dating back to the 17th century.  Continue to Albert Gilles Copper Art Museum and discover the mysterious atmosphere of a copper mine.  See the copper bearing rocks and then admire the fine artefacts collected around the world.  Next you will enjoy guided visits at both the Chateau Frontenac followed by the Holy Trinity Basilica.  The Chateau Frontenac is a heritage urban resort offering breathtaking views of the St. Lawrence River and the architecture of the old fortified city.  The Holy Trinity Basilica is also nestled in the heart of Old Quebec and is the mother church of the Diocese of Quebec.  Enjoy time at your leisure before visiting the Monastère des Augustines, the experience merges with the place, rich of nearly four centuries of history.  (B, D)

DAY 4:  DECEMBER 13, 2020

This morning you will check out of the hotel to begin your journey home, stopping in Montreal.  You will have a brief opportunity to do some shopping and lunch on your own in the underground shopping centre.  Next you will enjoy a guided visit of Montreal before continuing your journey home.  (B)
