DAY 1: AUGUST 8, 2020
Visit Ripley’s Aquarium and immerse yourself in a world of over 16,000 aquatic animals and discover your own underwater adventure. This is Canada’s largest indoor aquarium featuring over 100 interactive displays, nine galleries, and three touch exhibits featuring sharks, rays, and horseshoe crabs. Ride along a moving walkway through the underwater tunnel in Dangerous Lagoon. You can explore the Great Lakes and Canada’s surrounding seas in the Canadian Waters Gallery, where you’ll find habitats spotlighting the diversity of Canada’s treasures, including the stunning Pacific Kelp exhibit. Surround yourself with colour changing displays in Planet Jellies, don’t miss daily dive shows, and learn from aquarium educators about the animals and their habitats. Some people may wish to spend longer than others at the aquarium. No worries!.....Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada is located in downtown Toronto. If you wish you can visit one of the many eating establishments nearby. You may also choose to take in another attraction on your own such as the Hockey Hall of Fame or the CN Tower. There is plenty to do in this vibrant city! Accommodations this evening will be at the Holiday Inn Toronto East – Scarborough.
DAY 2: AUGUST 9, 2020
The Toronto Zoo is home to over 5,000 animals representing over 450 species and 10 kilometres of walking trails. It is divided into seven zoogeographic regions. Cool off at Splash Island, a 2-acre splash pad filled with water-spouting animals, waterfalls and tipping buckets. Take a self-guided tour of the Greenhouse, full of plants from around the world. For a minimal fee you can enjoy the Conservation Carousel or take a ride on the Zoomobile. For the more adventures (and a minimal fee) you may choose to experience the Wild Rouge Zipline & Canopy Tour, the Gorilla Climb Ropes Course, or the TundraAir Ride.
